Itinerary
Day01: Drive to Leshan Buddha (2 hours), which is the biggest of the world, Lingyun Temple, lunch, and take a boat ride to see the Giant Buddha, Emeishan(1 hour drive), overnight in Emeishan, (Lunch/Dinner).
Day02: By green bus to Golden Summit (1.3 hours), walk 40 minutes(2 km) to cable car station, take cable car to the top! Visit the Golden summit, lunch, Huazang Temple, and see the cloud sea if possible! (Breakfast/Lunch)
Leshan Buddha-----The Leshan Giant Buddha is a statue of Maitreya (a Bodhisattva usually represented as a very stout monk with a broad smile on his face and with his naked breast and paunch exposed to view) in sitting posture. It is 71 meters (about 233 feet) high, and has three-meter-long (about 11 feet) fingers. The eight-meter-long (about 27 feet) instep is big enough for one hundred people to sit on and the 28-meter-wide (about 92 feet) shoulder is large enough to be a basketball playground.
Emei Mountain-----is one of the four mountain ranges in China that Buddhists consider sacred. It was included in the UNESCO world heritage list in 1996. Since ancient times Emei Mountain has been described as "Beauty Under Heaven".
